A Future for Vulnerable Children
The Center for Child Aid and Protection (CAPE) is an initiative dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and youth in Bujumbura and its surroundings. Since our inception, we have been committed to providing quality education, vocational training opportunities, and essential support to marginalized communities, particularly the Batwas.
Education and Youth Autonomy
In 2024-2025, we marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of our school canteen, a project that ensures children receive healthy meals to support their learning. Our literacy programs enable out-of-school children to reintegrate into the education system, while our craft training programs provide young people with practical tools to create and market their own products.
Support and Collective Engagement
Thanks to the support of our institutional and private partners, we continue to expand our impact. Whether through material donations, infrastructure, or close collaboration with local authorities, every contribution matters.
