History

The Herpetological Association of Burundi (AHEB) is founded by Patrice Faye, marking the beginning of his commitment to Burundi.

Under the leadership of its new president, Mrs. Françoise, the association begins to evolve in its goals and organization.

Under the leadership of the new president, Ndayishimiye Protais, AHEB becomes the Child Assistance and Protection Center (CAPE). This change marks a shift towards focusing on child and family protection, as well as the fight against extreme poverty in Burundi. The school is now entirely free.
